DEH: We repress our past. We repress our unity with men of other nations, opinions, religious persuasions, our unity with animal life, our unity with Earth and the Universe generally. Our cruelty to other men and animals, our unhappiness our lostness and loneliness and meaninglessness are the result. We do not face up to the past/future that ones us with others — all others. The present separates. It is the arena of surface consciousness. The past/future unites. It is the arena of the widening consciousness.
Even I don’t realise half intensely enough the repressed embryology. It will have to be realised.
