Jeans

Index-Card-J-25-05; Jeans: Surprising fact that when we turn to things of outside world we find they obey these laws. For we are insignificant in the universe, & the most likely supposition would be that universe should be meaningless to us. As if we drew up the rules of a game for ourselves, then found universe was playing to those rules.

DEH Surprise because of the horizontal outlook. The vertical outlook explains the problem. Your maths is Earths maths & moleculesmaths. It is molecules thinkingabout their own motions superconsciously, & Earth thinking subconsciously.
